Living Well
Living Well is a small group ministry for women of all ages. We meet every Thursday from 9:30-11:30am from mid-September through the end of May. Our schedule correlates with the Wappingers Central School District (WCSD) calendar. Our snow policy is if WCSD is closed or has a 2-hour delay, Living Well will not meet.
Babysitting is provided for infants through kindergarten. To cover the cost of care, we collect a weekly offering of $1 per child. Vibrating beepers are issued to mothers so that you may be paged in the event that your child requires your attention.
All ladies are welcome for a time of fellowship, food and learning about our awesome God!
The following are the different studies offered at Living Well for the Fall 2011 Semester:
*David:Seeking a Heart Like His by Beth Moore: Get ready for an exciting and informative journey through virtually every twist and turn of David's life as a shepherd, refugee and king. David was a man loved and anointed by God and his life serves as an example for Christians in every time and place. Discover the truth that God will never give up on you. (This is a year-long study)
*Loving Your Husband by Cynthia Heald: How can you be a godly woman and wife in the context of an imperfect world? How is God's Word relevant to the challenges and temptations you face? Cynthia Heald will lead you to key Scriptures where you will learn 12 ways to apply biblical truth to the personal joys and struggles of your own marriage.
*Praying with Confidence by David Egner: God has made a way for you to come with confidence to His throne of grace. How is your prayer relationship with God? Do you have an enthusiasm for prayer or is prayer nothing more than ritual? Discover intimacy with God as you embark on the incomparable journey of companionship with Him through prayer.
Women's Book Club
Love to read? This is the ministry for you. All women are welcome as we read popular Christian novels and then discuss the plot, characters and spiritual content of each book. Light refreshments are served and the fellowship and discussions are lively!! Contact the church office for more info.
